Rael is on an official visit to Congo from Dec. 12 to 15. He was welcomed and officially invited by the President of the Republic Denis Sassou Nguesso.
His meeting today will be the first of a series of privately-held meetings with the President who is particularly interested in the projects that will contribute to the development of Africa, especially the sciences of the future such as cloning, genetically modified plants, and knowledge of computer sciences. According to Rael these will not only allow Africa to catch up but also surpass western countries.
Rael will be flying back to Quebec on Dec. 16th.
