A new Marshall plan in Africa would only prolong neocolonization!
Say No to the perpetual exploitation of Africa by westerners. Say No to the “Marshall Plan” proposed by Great Britain to reduce the so-called African countries’ debt.

Abidjan – Press release, January 31, 2005 – Following the announcement made by Mr. Gordon Brown, Great Britain’s finance minister, of supporting with the 8 richest nations (G8) the implementation of a new “Marshall Plan for the developing world?, aiming to reduce the debt and revise the financial aid to poor countries. Do not accept any plan (be they Marshall or Brown) proposed by Westerners.
How long will it still take to the political leaders on the African Continent, which still contains colossal wealth despite the pillage and the abuses committed for centuries by the West, to decide to shout out loud to the great western powers:
Enough is enough! Stop insulting the Africans’ intelligence… Stop abusing us!
This “Marshall Plan? for Africa, which proposes to cancel part of the African countries’ debt, is nothing new. Many political leaders like Félix Houphouet Boigny, François Mitterand, Fidel Castro and more particularly Thomas Sankara during his historical speech on July 29, 1987 given at the conference of the African heads of states in Addis-Abeba, have in the past taken position for the total cancellation of the debt.
Eighteen years after this historic speech, the African debt is still not cancelled; on the contrary, Great Britain proposes a reduction (BUT NOT A CANCELLATION) of the debt. This “Marshall Plan? is a new maneuver to better articulate the debt and thus the dependence of African countries towards the developed countries. This new form of neo-colonialism has been well organized and orchestrated to maintain African countries under the perpetual dependence of the West.
The history of Africa demonstrates that its true economic recovery will not be done through the intervention of the G8 countries. For it is these same countries that are responsible for plundering the agricultural, mining and human resources of Africa. Be sure that theses countries only have their common interest in mind when they propose this “Marshall Plan? for Africa.
On the contrary, it is these countries that must pay an enormous debt to Africa, for if we would add the value of all the goods plundered from Africa throughout history including the agricultural resources, the raw materials and the human resources that were exploited and used for the development of Europe and the United-States of America during the negro trade and colonization, we would find that this value largely exceed the so-called debt of African countries. Yes, one should dare say it; it is the Western countries that own enormous sums to Africa and the Africans.
Rael asks Africans, do not be had one more time by the maneuvers and speeches of promises and projects proposed by the Westerners (www.raelafrica.org), that will never be realized (and the whole world including the western leaders recognize that the past promises were never kept). On the other hand, he encourages the African leaders to commonly gather their efforts to accelerate the process of the African continent unification by creating:
The United-States of Africa based on ethnic federated microstates freed from the artificial frontiers created by the colonizers to better exploit Africa.
Create a unique currency (Afro).
Launch new technologies such as biotechnology and nanotechnology.
Create a unique pan African army to maintain peace. If this is done, Rael specifies that in a short time, Africa will not only catch up its lost time in relation to the other continents, but will surpass them.
It is more than time for African leaders to demand from the developed countries that plundered Africa without any compensation and who thus enriched and developed themselves and who for some, continue to do so, that Africa has no debt to pay back, but moreover, it’s Africa that should be compensated.
